About Vicky

Vicky Mappin is an established botanical artist. She lives in Rodmell, East Sussex.

Vicky has a strong following throughout the country. Her Style is easily recognised and loved by enthusiasts. Her great love for the plants she finds in her beloved countryside and in her garden, shines out in her work.

Vicky was made a member of The Society of Botanical Artists in 2003 and recently has been made a Fellow member. She exhibits with the Society annually in London. Vicky's work includes murals and many projects which require botanical illustration.

Examples of commissioned work include wallets of cards for the Glyndebourne Opera House shop as well as mugs to commemorate the 2011 season. She also designed menu cards for Leith's restaurant at Glyndebourne and well as menu cards for Sussex Historic Hotels, illustrations for Leeds Castle and illustrations for a cookery book.

In 2013 Vicky expanded her range with the introduction of aprons, tea towels, trays, and most recently, oven gloves, all featuring images from her botanical paintings.
